There’s more than one way to grow.

Roots to Wings Collective began with a simple idea: the things we create, discover, share, and pass along can have a life beyond ourselves.

Sometimes that looks like bringing a boutique directly to a senior living community and creating an afternoon residents can look forward to. Sometimes it’s finding a beautiful secondhand piece and giving it another chapter. Sometimes it’s sharing an idea, a resource, or something learned the hard way that might make someone else’s life a little easier.

And sometimes, it’s simply making something because an idea was worth exploring.

That’s why it’s a collective.

Roots to Wings isn’t meant to fit neatly into one box. It’s a home for thoughtful ideas, useful things, creative projects, secondhand finds, community-centered experiences, and whatever grows from them next.

Behind it all is me — a mom of three, wife, full-time professional, lifelong problem-solver, thrift-store treasure hunter, and someone who has always had more ideas than available hours in the day.

I believe useful things deserve to be shared. Beautiful things deserve another life. People deserve to feel seen. And good ideas deserve the chance to grow.

Roots are where things begin. Wings are what happens when we give them room to become something more.
